The Retail Design Institute is pleased to announce the launch of the 2011 Retail Design Awards for the best creative use of a retail space.

The winner will receive a one page editorial in Indesign magazine the winner and the two runners up will also receive trophies.

Entries can be a window display or an entire store. Eligible contestants are Architects, Retail Designers and Visual merchandisers. The project has to be built and has to be installed between 1st January 2010 and 31st December 2010.

The project must be an installation within the Australian States and Territories. Submission requirements will be up to 10 digital photographs, initial budget information, and actual cost of the installation and up to 100 words describing the completed project. The winner will be announced in May 2011 at a Retail Design Institute function.

The closing date for entries is 28th March 2011.
