The Retail Design Institute is pleased to announce the launch of the Retail Design Awards 2012 for the best creative use of a retail space. The winner will receive a one page editorial in Indesign magazine the winner and the two runners up will also receive trophies. Entries can be a window display or an entire store. Eligible contestants are Architects, Retail Designers and Visual merchandisers. The project has to be built and has to be installed between 1st January 2011 and 31st December 2011. The project must be an installation within the Australian States and Territories. Submission requirements will be up to 10 digital photographs, initial budget information, and actual cost of the installation and up to 100 words describing the completed project. The winner will be announced in September 2012 at a Retail Design Institute function in Melbourne. The closing date for entries is 31 May 2012.
