SENSE OF PLACE- SAMPLING THE FUTURE. NEW DIALOGUES FOR URBAN DESIGN

Over the years urban environments have become more inclusory of human inhabitants, creating positive experiential spaces. ‘Sense of Place- sampling the future’ concerns itself with three of the four major ‘shapers’ of urban space design- retail, workplace models, and ambient or environmental considerations. How these ‘shapers’ are designed and work together impacts residential and commercial development in urban, suburban and regional centres. How will design shape the urban environment of the future? What are the forecasts, considerations and human impact?
