WE INVITE YOU TO EXPERIENCE THE WORK OF JOOST BAKKER

‘Green is green’, you say, ‘so what?’.

I say ‘it’s different when interpreted by Joost Bakker’, and for anyone who has been privy to experiencing his amazing installation at Fed Square this year replete with roof-top garden & cafe, vegetable patch and beehives, or some of the installations he designed in the past for the likes of GPO, Republic Tower and Country Road, you will know that Joost’s style of ‘green’ is more than just green. His works touch soul - we find ourselves wanting to know who the designer is, wanting to touch and experience the works first hand.

On one level the works are installations, on another part sculpture, and on yet another an enguling experience. To see one of Joost’s works is to feel yourself applauding the ingenuity or wondering at the delight of feeling enervated and inspired just by being there. The Retail Design Institute and 4M are proud to present special guest speaker Joost Bakker.
